This is an incredible idea – musicians from all over the world will practice and record the same piece of music… then renowned Chinese composer; Tan Dun will choose the best performances to be combined into a collaborative masterpiece and video performance! Finally, winners will be invited to Carnegie Hall in New York City to perform.
I’m incredibly excited to see the ‘mash-up’ of the world wide web and the global language of music!!! Check out a site I’ve just joined called Kompoz. This site allows musicians from around the globe to upload and download tracks, collaborating to create beautiful music… (or shredding metal in my case!!
