Is this a ‘sign of the times’ or lack there of? I stopped by the local pub last night for a couple pints with the boys and a little taste of home (Sleeman Cream Ale from Guelph Ontario). When I hit the can, I was shocked to see that even the advertising above the toilets in the mens’ room have disappeared. Seems that advertisers continue to cut marketing budgets but now there’s no reading material in the mens’ room! (typically this spot was monopolized by truck dealers, ski resorts and beer companies)
No reading material!? WTF?

Yeah advertising on city buses has started to dwindle as well over the last few weeks/months as well. I’ve been on a couple of buses now with only 1 or two ads on the whole thing.
